Wintry weather will continue to impact Michiana for the next several hours. The Winter Weather Advisory will continue until 7PM for the following counites—Berrien, Cass, St. Joseph MI, St. Joseph IN, Northern LaPorte and Elkhart Counties. Areas in northern Berrien County could likely see 6+ inches of snow by tomorrow morning. Snow totals decrease further south from the Toll Road.

The Cold Weather Advisory continues for all of Michiana through 9AM Tuesday, as temperatures remain dangerously cold. Wind chill values are expected to reach the negative double digits, especially tomorrow morning. While the threat of falling snow will decrease overnight, winds continue to keep the threat for blowing snow and drifting snow elevated. Powdery snow will continue to limit visibility and blowing snow will keep roads messy. Travel will remain difficult likely through Tuesday AM.

Brighter skies and slightly warmer temperatures return on Tuesday. Temperatures continue to warm by midweek; however, system snow also returns Wednesday with lake enhancement present on the backend of that system. Temperatures fall again by the end of the week, with lows in the negatives.

Tonight: Snow tapers off, bitter cold, feel like temps -10. Low 2.

Tuesday: Dangerously cold AM, wind chill in negative single digits. Some sun, windy. High 18.

Wednesday: Slightly warmer, widespread snow. High 30.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, Late PM snow chances. High 21.
