Darden Primary Center in South Bend to hold Earth Day event

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Darden Primary Center in South Bend says it will celebrate Earth Day by holding a daylong event April 20th.

The event will include a school-wide art project that will use recycled plastic bottle caps. 

Students will also be taught a special Earth Day song.

Thjey will also take part in a planting or painting project that will spruce up the front landscape or pond area.

The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school on Janet Street.
