MISHAWAKA, Ind. - Owners said they chose Wednesday as the first day of operations to coincide with "National Banana Day." The "Upside Down Banana Split" is one of the most popular menu items that the eatery offers.
Unfortunately, the warm weather decided to "split" just in time for the weekend.
Temperatures will fall into the low 50s by Saturday, with highs expected to finish 15 degrees below normal across Michiana.
Some could even see frost this weekend, as low temperatures dip into the lower to middle 30s.
Warm weather looks to make a comeback by the middle and end of next week.
