Deadly hit and run on South Main Street

ELKHART, Ind. --- Elkhart Police responded to a deadly hit and run on South Main Street Friday night.
Elkhart Police said the 73-year-old victim died on his way to Elkhart General Hospital.
Police said they found the vehicle that struck the victim.
The alleged driver of that car was arrested on preliminary charges of leaving the scene of an accident.
