Deadly shooting in Benton Harbor

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - A young man was shot and killed Sunday morning in Benton Harbor.
Officers were called to the 900 block of Lavette Ave. at 2:49 a.m. in reference to a shooting.
When first responders arrived they found Xavier Steward, 22, laying on the sidewalk suffering from a gun shot to his upper body.
Steward was rushed to Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
No arrests have been made in connection to this murder.
