SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is investigating after a body was found in the St. Joseph River at Keller Park near the boat launch Thursday afternoon.
The body was found in the river by a fisherman around 4 p.m. South Bend Police and Clay Fire responded to the scene to assist DNR with the investigation.
The St. Joseph County Coroner's Office arrived on scene at 5:45 p.m.
An autopsy will be conducted on Friday.
