Deputies arrest 2 suspects on drug charges following traffic stop

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- Three people were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on US 20, according to the La Porte County Sheriff's Office.

Just after 1 a.m. on February 19, Deputy Austin Wells conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on US 20 just east of SR 39.

After making contact with the occupants of the vehicle, the deputy requested Andrew Hahn and his K-9 partner Hokie respond to the scene.

Deputy Hahn and Hokie located drugs and items associated with drugs, according to the sheriff's office.

All three occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody.

Robert Grimm was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license.

Courtney Milby was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, and possession of a narcotic drug.

Lauren Milby was arrested on a preliminary charge of identity deception.
