Deputies arrest third suspect in armed robberies

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department has arrested the third suspect in two armed robberies that happened May 2 involving elderly victims.

According to the victims, two women and a man came to their door claiming to have car trouble. They then forced their way into the homes and tied up or confined the victims.

On May 2, 34-year-old Jonie Lee McMahan was arrested for armed robbery-serious bodily injury and criminal confinement.

On May 5, 45-year-old Jamie Lee Hancock was arrested for armed robbery and criminal confinement.

On May 10, 29-year-old Amanda Wrye was arrested for armed robbery and criminal confinement.
