Deputies complete investigation into attempted abduction

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Deputies have released the results of the investigation into an attempted abduction that was reported on April 2.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office was called to Monterey Drive, south of Knobcone Court in Bristol at 4:38 p.m. on April 2 to investigate reports of an attempted abduction.
The victim, a 12-year-old girl, told police a man in a car attempted to talk her into getting in his vehicle.
After gathering detailed information from the 12-year-old girl, deputies located the suspect for questioning.
Their investigation revealed no criminal activity occurred and no charges have been filed.
