Deputies identify man killed in crash on Decatur Road

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's Department has released the name of the man who was killed in a crash on Decatur Road in Penn Township Monday morning.
The crash happened around 10:45 a.m. at Decatur Road near Shurte Street.
Deputies said 34-year-old Russell Jett Jr was traveling on Decatur Road when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
Jett died at the scene.
Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash, deputies said.
The crash remains under investigation.
