Deputies identify man killed in crash on SR 39

The La Porte County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of the driver killed in a crash on SR 39 Thursday afternoon.
Deputies said Daniel McKeown, was driving north on SR 39 when his vehicle left the northbound lane, traveled along the shoulder of the roadway, then collided with a tree and came to rest in a ditch.
McKeown was pronounced dead at the scene.
Toxicology results are pending.
