ELKHART COUNTY, Ind.—Deputies in Elkhart County are searching for a suspect in a theft of nearly $800 worth of Barbie dolls from a woman’s shed.
The incident was reported on July 19 in the 27000 block of Cobblestone Way in Elkhart by Suzann Angelo, who told police that someone forced their way into her shed and removed a $1000 couch and $800 worth of Barbie dolls.
Angelo says the theft occurred sometime between 10 a.m. on July 15 and 10:48 a.m. on July 19.
“They rearranged every box from one side of the shed to the other side of the shed, there are stamps missing, a Thomas the Train set missing, there’s home decor missing, there are toys that were in boxes missing, there are pool rafts missing. I mean they went through everything,” Angelo said.
Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.
