Deputies trying to identify 4 people, 2 cars in credit card fraud investigation

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- Deputies are asking for the public's help identifying four people who are suspected of using fraudulent credit cards at several locations to purchase large amounts of cigarettes, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office.

Between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. on March 3, the four suspects are accused of using fraudulent credit cards at Lassus Handy Dandy gas stations in Ligonier, North Webster, Warsaw and Wolcottville.

The cards were used to purchase large amounts of Newport cigarettes.

Deputies say they are traveling in a white Jeep and a silver sport utility vehicle.

Three of the suspects produced Illinois identification during the transactions.
