DETROIT, Mich.-- In The Motor City, one man prefers a different kind of "horse power."
A Detroit man has decided to ride a horse instead of driving a car in his neighborhood.
Jordan Williams, said he does it to make a difference.
The 20-year-old bought Magic, the pony, instead of a car to help him steer clear of a dangerous path, and let him focus on something positive.
Williams said, "Most of the after school programs are being closed down, the recreation
centers are all closed down. So I kind of got into the horses,"
He said he hopes the attention he and Magic bring will be eye-opening for inner city youth.
