Diggins says farewell to South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Notre Dame standout Skylar Diggins greeted fans and signed autographs before bidding farewell to the town she's called home all her life.
The Notre Dame and Washington High School basketball star says she will miss the city of South Bend.
"The community in South Bend helped raise me into the person I am today," said Diggins. "I'm so excited to be here and share this moment with them. At the same time, I don't want to leave them, but I know they'll support me wherever I am."
Diggins was drafted by the Tulsa Shock.
