Dispatch: 3 injured in train, SUV collision

According to St. Joseph County dispatch, fire crews responded to the call at approximately 3:06 a.m. involving a collision on Day and Fir roads between a train and SUV.

Dispatch confirms three people were involved in the wreck.

One person was reportedly trapped inside a vehicle. Firefighters were able to successfully extricate them.

Two people suffered critical injuries and another person suffered minor injuries, officials say.
