DNR says November the deadliest month for deer-related accidents

MICHIGAN, Ind. -- The DNR says November is the deadliest month for deer-related accidents.

Last year, there were nearly 56,000 crashes in Michigan. Eleven drivers died and more than 14,000 were injured. Those accidents also caused about 130 million in damages.

There is good news for hunters. Gun season starts next Tuesday in Michigan.
