Do you have the "perfect" Christmas Tree? City of Mishawaka wants it

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The City of Mishawaka is on the search for the "perfect" Christmas tree and they need your help.

According to the city, every year, they summon the citizens in the search for a tree to display on the lawn of the Mishawaka Police Department.

There are a few requirements.

The city says the tree must be 30 to 40 feet tall and have abundant branches and needles so it can hold "thousands" of Christmas lights.

Officials say city workers will remove the tree from the property and give the property owners the privilege of "flipping the switch" to the lights that will be seen for blocks along Main Street and Mishawaka Avenue.

If you have the "perfect" tree on your property, contact the Mayor's Office at 574-258-1601.
