SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Filmmakers John Kouris and Cecily Burch are holding a screening of their inaugural documentary, "Demetrius DuBose, All American," at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center in the Browning Cinema on Saturday at 10 a.m.
The filmmakers say the documentary was created in memory of Demetrius DuBose, a former Notre Dame football player who played under coach Lou Holtz.
He was shot and killed in San Diego by two police officers on July 24, 1999.
There will be a condensed 45-minute cut of the film shown to an audience of up to 200, with a short Q&A afterwards.
Only those who RSVP will be able to attend, due to limited seating.
You can RSVP by using the QR code on the poster below or going to the film's website.
