Dog rescued from fire passes away

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The dog that was rescued from a fire on Ewing Avenue in South Bend has died.
Firefighters were able to rescue Cain and get emergency care for him, but the smoke inhalation and other injuries were just too much.
Cain passed away over the weekend.
The fire happened on Thursday, July 13.
