The cold front has passed over Michiana and our rain is done for the day, leaving behind partly cloudy skies and temperatures approaching freezing tonight. Sunday will lay in the upper 30s and is packed with more precipitation as lake effect begins to set up early Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening. Expect a rain snow mix during the opening hours of precip in the afternoon followed by light flurries in the evening. Travel impacts will be present but minimal with slick roads expected among other surfaces. Accumulation will not exceed half an inch for our area and all rain and snow wraps up by Sunday night as temperatures drop into the upper 20s. Monday and Tuesday continue to sit around 40F with similar sky conditions as the sun peeks out to start the work week.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 32.
Sunday: Rain/snow mix, flurries after. High 38.
Monday: Mostly sunny. High 39.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. High 41.
