Dowagiac Police investigating two drive-by shootings
DOWAGIAC, Mich. – The Dowagiac Police Department is investigating two separate drive-by shootings that happened Saturday and Sunday within city limits. According to Police, the shootings may be related and don’t appear to be random acts.
Police were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of James St. on Saturday, June 13th, around 6:30 p.m.
According to witnesses, unknown vehicles drove by and shot into the home several times. Of the three people inside, no one was injured.
Early on Sunday morning around 2:30 a.m., Police were sent to a residence in the 400 block of Maple St.
According to officials, the residence was shot at several times. There were four people inside when it happened and no one was injured.
