Power restored to residents in Elkhart

ELKHART, Ind. – Approximately 2,000 customers were without power in downtown Elkhart due to a transformer fire Friday morning.
The fire happened at a transformer near Concord and Lusher around 3:30 a.m.
Power was restored by 10 a.m.
