SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Downtown South Bend announced the winners of the 2022 Gingerbread Village Competition. All entries will be on display in the lobby of the Courtyard by Marriott through Saturday.

Prizes were awarded to the following:

Non-professional child category

  • 1st – Sadie Chapman
  • 2nd – Hailey Robbins
  • 3rd – Eli Chapman

Non-professional family/group category

  • 1st – Alyssa Sutanto: Apt. 3302
  • 2nd – Cole & Jessica Mikels-Carrasco: A Very Dalek Christmas
  • 3rd – Kathleen Heath

Non-professional adult category

  • 1st – Deb Neumann
  • 2nd – McKenzie Collins
  • 3rd – Lydia Elliott

People’s choice category

  • 1st – Deb Neumann
  • 2nd – Alyssa Sutanto: Apt. 3302
  • 3rd – McKenzie Collins

Judges decided the winners of professional and non-professional categories.

The people's choice award was decided through public voting from December 2 to 17.
