Downtown South Bend to celebrate “Egg Stravaganza” this weekend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Downtown South Bend is celebrating spring and Easter with its Egg Stravaganza event on March 27.

Starting at 7 a.m. this Saturday, businesses downtown will be hosting various activities, crafts, and specials for locals to enjoy. Many of these activities are free.

A majority of activities will be happening between 12 to 3 p.m., some of which include:

  • Spring pottery to-go kits at The Pigeon and The Hen Pottery
  • Egg & Spoon Races, Games, and Sack Races on The Gridiron
  • Visit with the Easter Bunny on The Gridiron
  • And more!

Masks will be required inside businesses and at Gridiron activities. Hand sanitizer will also be available at The Gridiron. In order to adhere to current COVID-19 guidelines, a maximum of 100 people will be allowed on the Gridiron at any time.
