Downtown South Bend to celebrate Oktoberfest for First Friday

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Downtown South Bend’s First Friday will celebrate Oktoberfest and will close down the 200 block of Michigan Street.

Vendors, German food, Studebaker cars, a beer garden, fall photo ops and live music will all be present at this month’s First Friday.

Over the Edge fundraise their fifth year to raise money for the Youth Service Bureau of St. Joseph County.

Football Fridays will make their return this Friday. A free community tailgate will take place at the Gridiron with music by UltraFab.

Tables and chairs will be sanitized throughout the event. Hand sanitizer will be available for attendees. Masks for vaccinated guests are not required, but unvaccinated guests are recommended to wear one.
