ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Deputy Health Officer for St. Joseph County Dr. Mark Fox joins ABC57 News to discuss the new COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
ABC57’s Brian Conybeare interviews Dr. Fox on when St. Joseph County will be seeing the vaccine, whether or not the vaccine will bring any relief to the overwhelmed frontline health care workers, on what is being done locally to build the trust in the vaccine and whether or not Dr. Fox is willing to get vaccinated publicly.
On what is being done locally to build the trust in the vaccine, Dr. Fox explains that although it is still going to be a while before the general public has access to the vaccine, hopefully the community will see good leadership from members of the frontline healthcare community and other at-risk populations.
