MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A driver was arrested early Sunday morning following a traffic stop on US 31, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.

Early Sunday morning, the Marshall County Sheriff's Department was advised of a possibly impaired driver in a tan pickup truck traveling south on US31.

A deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle on US 31 near 13th Road.

Following an investigation, the driver, 46-year-old Shawn Morningstar, was taken into custody for a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

He was given $1,500 cash bond.
