Driver dies after crash in Lincoln Charter Township

Lincoln Charter Township Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened at Cleveland Avenue and Linco Road around 11:15 a.m. Thursday.

The investigation revealed Albert Schroeder, 87, was driving westbound on Linco Road and stopped at the stop sign at Cleveland Avenue.

Police say Schroeder pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Michael Foulk, which was headed northbound on Cleveland Avenue.

Both drivers and a passenger in Schroeder's vehicle were all injured and taken to the hospital.

Albert Schroeder was pronounced dead at the hospital at 2:11 p.m. Thursday.

Schroeder's passenger, his wife, is in critical condition.

Foulk suffered what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries.
