ELKHART, Ind. -
A driver involved in an early morning crash Saturday, was pronounced dead at Memorial Hospital just after arrival.
According to St. Joseph County Police, the victim, 32-year-old Eric Faux of Bremen, lost control of his vehicle around 2:00 a.m. on Beech Road and went through the intersection of Kern Road, crashing off the roadway.
Faux was transported to the hospital where he died.
Police say speed, alcohol, and the lack of a seatbelt were all contributing factors to the outcome of the incident.
