Driver injured in rollover accident on Bendix

A driver was injured when their car struck a utility pole and rolled over on North Bendix Drive in South Bend Monday afternoon.
The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. in front of a daycare.
The car struck a utility pole and knocked it down. The car then caught fire.
The driver got out of the car, but was taken to the hospital for unknown injuries.
Bendix was closed from Rosetta Place Drive to Lathrop Street while the utility company fixed the power pole.
