Driver leads police on a chase after crashing into the Elkhart Fire Department

ELKHART, Ind.— A car drove into of the Elkhart Fire Department before leading police on a chase, according to Elkhart Police.
On January 29 at 5:45 p.m., a Dodge Grand Caravan crashed into the fire station’s front entrance then took off, police said.
Officers located the van at the intersection of Main and Marion streets before it drove away once again, down Beardsley Avenue, police said.
The van then struck a Nissan Altima before hitting a utility pole, police said.
The driver of the van and two passengers in the Altima were transported to the hospital.
Police said the Dodge Caravan was reported stolen out of Niles, Michigan.
Charges are pending.
