Drugs seized, two arrested following narcotics investigation
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Two Elkhart residents were arrested on drug charges after Elkhart Police served a search warrant at a home on W. Franklin Street.
Elkhart Police conducted a narcotics investigation in the area of the 400 block of W. Franklin Street. As a result of that investigation, police obtained a search warrant for 429 W. Franklin Street.
Police executed the search warrant early Tuesday morning.
During a search of the home, police say they seized:
- Over 230 pills
- 580 grams of synthetic drug (marijuana)
- Over 20 grams of ecstasy
- Over 30 grams of methamphetamine
- Over 1 gram of cocaine
- Over 4 grams of heroin
- 27 grams of marijuana
- Paraphernalia
- Syringes
- Money
- Shotgun
Robert Peugh, 33, was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing a controlled substance (heroin), dealing cocaine, dealing in a controlled substance (ecstasy), maintaining a common nuisance, dealing a synthetic drug, dealing in methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a syringe.
Cheyenne Oakley, 21, was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing a controlled substance (heroin), dealing cocaine, dealing in a controlled substance (ecstasy), maintaining a common nuisance, dealing a synthetic drug, dealing in methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a syringe.
Tara Kell Trotter, 45, was arrested for a warrant through the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.
