A cool front moves through tonight, creating a chance for scattered, light lake effect snow and wintry mix showers overnight. We could see a light dusting of accumulation in our Michigan counties and near the state line by Monday morning. Monday, however, will be a beautiful, dry day with some sunshine! Great for Christmas Eve travel. Christmas day travel could be a bit messier though. A quick system will pass through, bringing a some snow showers, followed by mix and then rain as temperatures warm during the afternoon. There is a chance for some light accumulation across all of Michiana, and because of mix and rain that will follow, there could definitely be some slick spots on the roads. The day after Christmas will be dry, and another rainy system will move in to end out the week.
Today: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain/snow showers. High of 36.
Tonight: Mostly to partly cloudy with a chance of L.E. mix and snow showers. Low of 27.
Christmas Eve: Partly sunny with a slight chance of early AM L.E. snow showers, then mostly to partly sunny. High of 33.
Christmas Day: Cloudy with scattered rain/snow showers possible from mid-morning through the early-evening. Highs in the upper 30s.
