SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A section of Dubail Avenue will close beginning Tuesday for street improvements, the City of South Bend announced.

The road will be closed between High and Miami Streets from March 22 to April 4, weather permitting.

Construction includes installing underground infrastructure and reconstructing curbs and sidewalks.

Detour routes will be High and Miami Streets via Indiana Avenue or Dayton Street.

This closure is part of the Dubail Avenue Streetscape Improvement Project, which will make improvements, like new pavement, curbs, and sidewalks, to a 10-block section of Dubail between Michigan and Miami Streets.

The entire project is expected to wrap up at the end of May.
