Dunes pavilion proposals being negotiated

CHESTERTON, Ind. -- The state is in the final stage of negotiations to change the historic pavilion at the Indiana Dunes State Park.
Several months ago, the state was looking for bidders to make improvements to the facility including food service and how the pavilion is used.
The state received two proposals and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources is in final negotiations with one of the groups. No changes are expected at the pavilion this summer.
