East Race offers a wild ride down the St. Joe River

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Buckle up for a wild ride!
Some folks took a dip in the East Race to cool off, Sunday.
This weekend marked the official opening of the water way.
So we couldn't help but go along for a ride.
"Oh I love doing this! The water's great, temperature's nice. It's great. I've just always been into water sports. And seeing this happening out over here...I've been doing it ever since," said Brian Warne.
The East Race is open Saturdays and Sundays until August 12th.
