A nurse's assistant in Spain, who is battling Ebola, is getting worse.
This news comes following the first Ebola death on US soil, which is turning the focus to those infected abroad.
Teresa Romero Ramos has the first case of an Ebola transmission outside of Africa.
She asked that her condition be announced to the public, and her doctor issued a statement Thursday.
“I've only come out to say that her clinical situation has worsened, but I can't give you any more information since that has been the patient's wishes,” says Dr. Yolanda Fuentes.
Spain is planning to revise their protocol with Ebola in case more people are infected with the deadly virus.
