Elkhart and Goshen named in top 10 in nationwide list for job creation

Big news for Elkhart and Goshen - A major financial publication says the area is among the nation's leaders in job creation.

24/7 Wall Street has the Elkhart/Goshen area ranked 10th in the nation for cities adding the most jobs. 

That's actually seven spots ahead of Indianapolis, the second highest ranked Indiana city on the list. Elkhart and Goshen is the only Indiana area in the top 10.

24/7 Wall Street took a look over four years, and decided Elkhart and Goshen had the most substantial boom of new jobs in the state. 

Both Mayor's have touted the ranking. Elkhart's Tim Neese attributes it to a strong partnership between the private and public sector. Goshen's Jeremy Stutsman says this is no accident and thinks the culture of entrepreneurship deserves some credit.
