Elkhart car crash sends 2 to hospital

ELKHART, Ind. -- Two people are recovering from a head-on collision in Elkhart.
It happened just after 6 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies say a Jeep traveling northbound on County Road 17 slammed into a car attempting to turn westbound.
Medics rushed two people to the hospital. They both suffered minor injuries.
