Elkhart County 4-H fair attendance increases this year

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County 4-H Fair reports attendance is up this year.
Huge crowds turned out both Friday and Saturday with higher attendance numbers than in the past five years.
More than 31,000 fair goers passed through the gates Saturday.
Tuesday was the only day with low numbers so far. Fewer than 17,000 people came through the fair gates.
Officials believe the tractor pull and demolition derbys will bring bigger crowds later this week.
