Elkhart County 4-H Fair restricts smoking because of drought

ELKHART, Ind. -- We are just one week away from the start of the Elkhart County 4-H Fair.

Due to the extreme drought, smoking will only be allowed in certain areas.

Ash trays will also be on-hand in these special smoking zones.

Also because of the drought, no grilling will be allowed in the campground this year.

 


The fun kicks off next Friday and runs for eight days.

Styx, Josh Turner, and Thompson Square are performing this year. So is the Rhinestone Cowboy, Glen Campbell. It's part of his farewell tour.

this year's rodeo will be held on July 27.

Admission is just $8 per person. Children 9 and under get in free.

There is free parking and free grandstand admission included for all fairgoers.
