Elkhart County crash involves three vehicles, leaves two injured

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – A crash on SR 13 involved three vehicles and injured two of the drivers on Friday around 4:30 a.m., according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.

A 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer and a 2010 F-150 were heading southbound on SR 13, near CR 10. A 2009 Kia Spectra was behind another vehicle that was stopped in traffic, trying to turn east onto CR 10, deputies said.

The Lancer rear ended the Spectra, said officers and the F-150 rear-ended the Lancer, deputies said.

The Lancer and F-150 were following each other too closely, deputies said.

The drivers of the Lancer and the Spectra were transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, deputies said.
