Elkhart County holds 'Fair Food Drive Thru' event

Elkhart County 4-H Fair officials are holding a Fair Food Drive-Thru event throughout the month of June. You can drive through and pick up your favorite fair foods.

A list of vendors and menus with prices will be released early next week.

The event will be held:

• Friday, June 5 - Noon to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, June 6 - Noon to 7 p.m.
• Sunday, June 7 - Noon to 5 p.m.
• Friday, June 12 - Noon to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, June 13 - Noon to 7 p.m.
• Sunday, June 14 - Noon to 5 p.m.
• Friday, June 19 - Noon to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, June 20 - Noon to 7 p.m.
• Sunday, June 21 - Noon to 5 p.m.

Drive-thru rules and details from Elkhart Fair officials:

• Cash only.
• Stay in your vehicles while on grounds
• No walk-up orders will be accepted
• All cars must exit the grounds after ordering and receiving food. Food may not be consumed while on grounds
• No public restrooms
• No pets allowed
• Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the fairgrounds
