Elkhart County ICE Unit seizes over 35 pounds of psychedelic shrooms

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - Elkhart County's Intelligence and Covert Enforcement Unit (ICE) seized more than 35 pounds of mushrooms with an estimated street value of $56,000.

While executing a search warrant on December 13, authorities claim they found the psychedelic shrooms along with 42 plastic tubs with mushrooms still in the growing process.

They also say there were nearly 50 packages of THC edible candy, over 4,700 grams of edible candy bars and a large amount of US currency, police said.

It all happened at a residence on County Road 117 in Elkhart County.

One man, Mason Bails, was arrested in connection with the investigation.
