Elkhart County motorcycle rider runs into minivan

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. — A motorcycle rider landed in the hospital after he ran into a minivan.
Crews were called to County Road 19 north of Timber Ridge late Friday.
Police say the 61-year-old rider was attempting to pass the van in front of him when the van suddenly turned left and he ran into it.
The man suffered broken ribs and a broken leg.
