Elkhart County Parks plans stargazing event

ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Parks is hosting a phenomenal space event on Jan. 9. 

Attendees will learn the art of constellations hoping to find the winter triangle, Orion the great hunter and his hunting dogs. 

Attendees will also be able to bring binoculars, spitting, telescopes, or view the planets through their ten-inch Dobsonian reflector scope. 

 Marshmallows, hot chocolate and star charts will also be provided.

The event is 7:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. and admission is three dollars per person. 

Attendees will meet at the Briar Patch Shelter, located on the South side of Bonneyville Mill County Park on C.R 8 in Bristol.
