Elkhart County seeking volunteers for phone bank

Because COVID-19 is forcing so many people to stay home, Elkhart County is asking for volunteers to staff a phone bank or create masks and gowns.

If you are interested in volunteering to help operate the phone bank and answer general questions, please visit www.serv-in.org to register. Please indicate if you have medical training.

If you are interested in making masks and/or gowns, there are instructions on the internet with advice on the best materials to use. Finished products can be dropped off at two locations:

• Elkhart County 4H Fair Office- Gate #3- 17746 County Road 34, Goshen, IN (24 hours a day)
• Elkhart Police Dept. -175 Waterfall Dr., Elkhart, IN (7 am-10 pm)
