Elkhart deputies investigating theft of food from restaurant

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department received a call about the theft of food from a restaurant Friday morning.
Deputies were called to Jimtown Pizza on CR3 to investigate a burglary that happened sometime between 9:15 p.m. Thursday and 7:50 a.m. Friday.
The suspects removed a window air conditioner to enter the building. Once inside, they removed over $500 worth of food.
The investigation is ongoing.
