Elkhart deputies seeking driver involved in hit and run

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help tracking down the driver involved in a hit and run early Saturday morning.

According to deputies, around 1 a.m. Saturday, the victim was driving south on CR9 just north of Woodridge Drive when another vehicle crossed the center line and sideswiped the victim's car.

The suspect's vehicle is a red Dodge Durango that should have extensive damage to the driver's side.
